Here are some suggestions on how to pray for our region at this pivotal time in history.
FROM AN IRANIAN MUSLIM BACKGROUND BELIEVER:
▫️Please pray for the unity of the people of Iran. It’s more important now than ever before that people would stay united and don’t break off into factions.
▫️That the Lord would spare the lives of people in prisons. In Syria prisoners were executed so there would be no eyewitnesses of the atrocities done in prisons. Pray this doesn’t happen in Iran.
▫️Pray that the heads of the army and IRGC and all the leaders of the Islamic Republic would surrender so that there is as little bloodshed as possible.
▫️Ask for the Lord’s protection over the transition time so that peace-loving and God-fearing people would move into places of influence as opposed to people seeking power for their own purposes.
▫️For wisdom and insight for the leaders of America and Israel so that everything they do would be for the benefit of the people of Iran.
▫️For the Iranian church to be vigilant in hearing the voice of the Lord and know what to do in the present situation.
▫️That believers would be a source of light in these uncertain times and many would choose to follow Christ. Pray this would be a time of great harvest, understanding, and for discipleship training.
