The last week of August, two Israelis and an American representing At the Crossroads and Christ Church Jerusalem traveled to southeast Turkey to encourage the Body there and to send aid to those displaced by ISIS.
The team carried financial gifts sent by four Messianic Jewish congregations in Israel. In the epistles, we see Paul collecting aid from Asia Minor for Jerusalem. This time, Jerusalem sent funds to Asia Minor.
The money was delivered to partners in Diyarbakir, Turkey and Arbil and Dohuk, Iraqi Kurdistan who are ministering to refugees in both countries. We are in contact daily with various groups in northern Iraq and southeastern Turkey who keep us informed of the situation, the needs and how funds are being used.
We’ll share more photos and stories in the coming days.
Thank you to those who have sent aid. If you are moved to give, we have several options.
