This last spring we held our annual Isaiah 19 gathering in northern Jordan, the land of Gilead quite close to ancient Tishbe, the home of the Prophet Elijah. We had participants from around the Highway, including Egypt, Iraq, Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and Israel. It was a very rich and refreshing time, for all of the nearly 70 people who joined us for the conference. One of the Israeli participants who has been to almost every gathering since the beginning said: “This was the best ATC gathering I have ever attended.” It was marked by multi-lingual worship, practical teaching and intercessory prayer, with of course sharing of testimonies from different countries. We were hosted by Jordanian Church community that has paid a real price to walk in relationship and cooperate in ministry initiatives with Israeli Messianic believers. They actually hosted a large group from the conference on the final night of our time there where we shared community and prayed for one another and our respective nations. We also spent time introducing a new group of passionate disciples from around the Middle East to the prophetic promise of Isaiah 19, its history, its geography, its spiritual uniqueness and significance for our day. We as well were led by a Jordanian believer northern Jordan and his Assyrian Christian wife, who shared their own history of faith and family as they guided us around Jordan giving us an overview of the rich biblical heritage of the Gilead and the tribal inheritance of Gad, Reuven and Manasseh.

This gathering also included a rather large group from Israel that crossed over the river to meet with those from the other nations of the Middle East. However it was specifically those believers from Muslim background, that were impacted as for many this was the first time they met believers from Israel. As a leadership team, we were very blessed by the passion of the young people for the Lord, and the Highway. There was also a multi-generational aspect of this gathering that included a very special group of mothers and fathers from the region. This subsequently created a family environment that enabled personal ministry on a deeper level than we had seen before. In short, both we and others were re-envisoned for the Highway and refreshed for the next season ahead. One of those who joined us for the conference, a Messianic Jewish Pastor from Israel, together with a journalist who covered our first gathering in 2012 collaborated on an article for Israel Today Magazine which we wanted to share here: https://www.godreports.com/2023/04/jesus-the-only-way-to-middle-east-peace/

Thank you to everyone who both prayed and gave sacrificially to this event. It exceeded our expectations in many ways. The Lord is faithful to His promises. Please also take time to read Rev. Carino Casas summary from the event “First Fruits of God’s Middle East Peace Process” also here on the website.
