Join us in this one of a kind opportunity to invest in the future of Yazidi refugee young women who are choosing to move beyond the pains of their losses at the hands of ISIS to be released into making a difference in the world. Through this program, Yazidi young adults are welcomed to a program in Cyprus and given a scholarship that covers entrance into an international university while they receive grief counseling, inner healing, and personal relationship in a community of believers who have responded to the call to invest in these young believers who are just coming to faith and ready to grow by leaps and bounds! The first year of this program has already been completed and the 2nd year will be completed in just a few months.
Here’s what we’d like to encourage you to do…
Pray: Pray for the success of this program. Success for this program looks like the participants finding healing in Jesus from the pains of their past, building healthy and positive lifelong relationships with the other participants in the program that will last throughout their life, and growing in their understanding of our faith and how to walk out faith in our Lord in every area of their life!
Adopt: ’Adopt’ a participant who you will receive personal updates from and help to fund throughout her time in the program. Each participant needs about $11,000 per year in the program until they complete their studies at the university. For just $916 a month, each participant can be fully funded. We are encouraging you to consider supporting a participant in part or in whole and to commit to praying especially for her and sending her words of encouragement during her time in the program.
Share: Share with your friends, family, and congregation about this unique opportunity to help young Yazidi women to make a difference in their community by returning to their homes in Iraq equipped with a degree in valuable fields of study. Even if you can’t ‘adopt’ a participant fully or in part, you may be able to connect us with people who God is calling to join in on this special opportunity!
